Dear Residents
Please note that there has been a sudden increase in House Break-ins (since our last email).
It seems the latest modus operandi is to remove roof tiles and enter the house either through the man hole or even just breaking open the ceiling. They then find keys for the doors or just smash open the doors and or gate.
In the incident BRAC Management and a Supervisor just attended, the house was raided, electrical items stolen. Laundry/Linen was also about to be thrown over the front wall. It is not known how these criminals travel.
We ask that you be alert at all times and keep all doors locked. Be alert of building sites around the area, and try to change your entry and exit pattern.
We will keep you updated of any further incidents or modus operand’s. Please let BRAC know of any crime incidents that you are aware of.
If you suspect any suspicious activity anywhere in Blairgowrie, please contact BRAC immediately. We will contact the necessary at the SAPS.
