Many street lights are ineffective due to branches growing close to the light source.
Trimming those branches would make the street lighting far more effective.

I agree that the trees that grow close to street lights do pose a problem. How do we resolve this? Do we log a call with the municipality or will brac take this up on our behalf. Please advise as the visibility around these huge trees is very poor.
What about the general triming of the branches that fall almost onto your boundary wall. Who is ultimately responsible for this? Municipality or us...Please advise.

Hi Thank you for yor post on BRAC forum.
I have had a few emails from residents that their outside trees have been trimmed to make the lighting more effective.
I hope the same has been done for you. If not please send me an email service@brac.co.za and i will gladly let the council management know.
