City Parks: Permission close entrances Delta Park

Please see below the written confirmation to close off the entrances to Delta Park.


JCP has no objection to the Residents Association fencing off Bantam Street onto Delta Park, subject to the following:

A pedestrian gate must be installed, which can be locked at night.

The residents of Blairgowrie have finally received permission to fence off Bantam Drive that enters into the park.
We are wanting to know if any residents have or know of any reliable palisade fencing companies who would be willing to do the fencing.
Their company name etc can be prominently displayed on the fence.

As a resident of Hillcrest Ave, and not a member of BRAC, I would like to know more about this planned closure:
1. WIll this restrict access from Hillcrest Ave into Bantam Drive or into the park?
2. Is the plan to restrict access into the actual Delta park or to the entire right of way along the spruit?
3. What actual times are we talking about when you say that the gate will be locked at night and re-opened in the morning?
4. Where is the palisade fencing going to be erected?

Sorry for the delayed reply!
BRAC have received permission to close off access to the Delta from Bantam Road side and the Blairgowrie Drive Side.

The Hillcrest side of the Delta is managed by a different person to the one who gave us permission to close off the above mentioned.

We have made contact with necessary person (to close off park by Wendy road) and in time will let all residents know of the outcome.

We have been 'on site' with service providers to get quotes etc and will liase with residents as soon as all the quotes are in.
