I think that we should make a concerted effort to clean up Delta Park and that this should not just be left to the BRAC community but should be extended to all dog lovers/walkers who use the park. It's a way of giving back something to the environment as without the use of the Park we would have a lot of unhappy dogs around! A suggestion would be to perhaps have a morning session where everyone would arrive at the park (preferably minus dogs to avoid distractions), we would have to have latex gloves or something available, refuse bags, and one of these waste tipper bins. Obviously we should try and get as much of this donated and I'm sure if we put our feelers out we'll come up with something. Maybe we schedule the clean up for say 3 hours and then afterwards have a braai in the parking area of the park for all those helpers and their families. It would be a good forum to get to meet new people all with a common interest - the environment and our dogs. I'd be happy to get involved and would appreciate some feed-back please. gaynorb@za.ibm.com

PLEASE COULD YOU CONTACT PARKS DEPT AND GET THEM TO CUT THE VERGES OF ST. ANDREWS PARK ON PARK LANE. THEY CUT INSIDE THE PARK BUT LEAVE THE VERGES TO GROW OVER A METER TALL. IT LOOKS TERRIBLE. Lets all climb out of our homes and clean up the Delta! Please contact Ganor or post your comments on this forum.... Together we can do it! BRAC ONLINE

think the clean up is a terrific idea, why don't we get the two schools close to the park involved, then on top of the faithful residents, we could add another 300 families!!!!
