All people using the park will have noticed an increase in squatter activity in the park since December. We simply cannot allow this to continue. Some of these squatters are even erecting tents. We have phoned the police on several occasions to remove the squatters their service was good and they arrived within half an hour to action our complaint.
The status according to the police is that they do not go into the park to remove squatters unless there is a complaint from a resident. I would therefor like to appeal to anyone who uses the park and who notices squatter activity to phone the police and ask for action to be taken. The more residents who do this the better and hopefully this will become a problem of the past.
