Some information, On Monday night 23 June for men tried to break into my property. We have 3 medium size dogs and fortunately they were sleeping inside due to it being winter and they alerted us to the presence of the intruders. When I looked out the window I saw two men, one outside the gate and the other one getting into the property. When I went down stair, I saw two other men standing at our sliding door. When they saw me they ran. The strange thing is that this happened at 5am in the morning. I stay in Noordwyk and there is a lot of house construction going on. I see in your suggestion you mention automating you gate. A word of advice, to all Automated gate owners, make sure that when your gate is closed that there is a mechanism that prevents the gate from being lifted on the end far form the motor. I have an electric gate and electric fencing and this is how they got into my property, by simply lifting the gate off the rail and moving it back enough to get in. Kind regards and if we can be of assistance, please don't hesitate to contact. Regards
