“Date of Incident: 3 September 2005 (Saturday)
Time of Incident: +- 18:00
While locking my garage after parking the car I was about to go through my side gate, which I had already unlocked, when a slim african male, late 20's to early 30's, ran up and threatened me with a pistol. The man had just walked past my house and even said hello to me - he was called back by an accomplice who had parked his car up the street a little way. It was as I turned to face away from him that he took his chance. I had my baby in my arms so immediately I saw the gun I reacted by shouting and ran through the gate towards the house. He didn't follow me as I think he was shocked at my reaction. I pressed my panic button and he made his way fairly casually to the car where his accomplice was waiting. They drove away and unfortunately I did not get to see the car.”
