Dear Residents
BRAC has just returned from the scene of a house break-in in Geneva Road. BRAC (3 Management Staff [1 Supervisor], 3 Reaction Vehicles, 3 Guards) were the first on the scene. Followed by the quick back up of Chubb Reaction. BRAC has direct contact with both the Chubb Reaction vehicle and the Chubb Control Room. So, should the need arise, we can contact Chubb for backup.
It is evident that the criminals are extremely professional and perform the act very quickly.
Modus operandi at this particular scene: Lifted the automatic gate off the tracks (very easily) - small window smashed using a dogs blanket (so to silence the smash), they then went on to look for spare keys to get out the house with the stolen equipment. Items stolen: Electronic Equipment, Jewellery etc.
Note: it is imperative to check that your electronic gate cannot be lifted off the tracks. Burglar bars on each window (both opening and closing are vital). As Christmas approaches, the increase in crime will become evident and it is therefore important that you be extra alert and ensure that your house is secure.
If you have had ANY crime occur at your premises, or know of any other, please let BRAC know by return email. If you had any disturbances or incidents during the night (and BRAC was not needed at the scene), please just send us an email the following morning. All crimes are put into the system, where a crime log is produced – giving BRAC and the Police vital information with regards to criminal activities in Blairgowrie.
Have a safe day.
Regards,
YOUR BRAC Team
